Getting to the Hamptons


From New York, Airports & Long Island
 
Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) East to Exit 70 (Manorville, County Road 111)
Follow south on CR 111 approximately 5 miles to end; follow forced left turn which leads to Route 27 East (Montauk Highway).
Continue east through towns of Southampton, Watermill, Bridgehampton, Wainscott, East Hampton, Amagansett and ultimately Montauk.
 

From Connecticut and New England
 
From Orient Point, follow Route 25A toward Greenport.
Pass the flashing light, follow signs and make a left for the North Ferry to Shelter Island.
On Shelter Island, proceed on Route 114 South across the island to the South Ferry.
Once landed, follow Route 114 left at the flashing light and approximately 1 mile until you cross the bridge into Sag Harbor Village.
Continue on Route 114 by turning right after the flashing light.
Follow Route 114 several miles to the end where it meets Route 27, Montauk Highway.
Turn left onto Montauk Highway; continue through the towns of East Hampton and Amagansett and ultimately Montauk.

Hampton Jitney
The Hampton Jitney runs luxury coaches and limousines between New York City and Eastern Long Island (including the airports), with stops throughout the Hamptons.
Comfortable coaches, reasonable prices and a regular schedule during the summer make reservations necessary. Use the link above to access their schedule and online reservation form.
   
Long Island Railroad
The Long Island Railroad runs frequent regular services from New York's Penn Station to stops across Long Island using their new double-decker trains.
Tickets can be bought at Penn Station, on the train, or reserved in advance using their Hamptons Reserve Service.
